What Is the OPEX Model?

Under the OPEX model, Kanoo CleanMax finances, designs, builds, owns, and operates the solar plant on your premises. You pay only for the electricity generated, at an agreed per-kWh tariff, under a long-term power purchase agreement. There is no upfront capital requirement and no operational responsibility on your side.

Solar plants under this model are engineered to generate power at the point of consumption, which means transmission losses are negligible and cost savings are reflected in your energy bills from the outset.

This model is well-suited to organisations that:

01
Have constrained capital budgets or competing investment priorities
02
Want to reduce electricity costs without taking on asset ownership
