Kanoo CleanMax designs, installs, and operates ground-mounted solar systems for organisations that require large-scale power generation capacity across the globe.
What Is Ground-Mounted Solar?
Ground-mounted solar is the most scalable option for organisations with access to open land and high electricity demand. System size, layout, and orientation are not constrained by existing building infrastructure, which means installations can be fully optimised for energy output from the ground up.
Kanoo CleanMax manages the complete project scope in-house, from land assessment and system design through to installation, commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance.
Who is it designed for?
Ground-mounted solar is best suited to organisations with available land and a requirement for higher-capacity energy generation. Kanoo CleanMax works with:

Industrial and manufacturing facilities with land adjacent to operations

Large-scale warehousing and logistics campuses with open yard areas

Organisations with energy targets that exceed rooftop generation capacity

Institutions and campuses with unused land available for energy infrastructure

Businesses seeking to secure long-term energy supply at a fixed, predictable tariff
Our Delivery Process
Kanoo CleanMax manages every phase of your ground-mounted solar project through a fully integrated in-house team. No critical work is outsourced. Our scope covers:

Land and site assessment, including solar resource analysis

System design and engineering, including tracker configuration, where applicable

Procurement of equipment and materials

Civil works, installation, and commissioning

Long-term operations, remote monitoring, and maintenance
Key Benefits
Large-Scale Power Generation
Ground-mounted systems are not limited by rooftop size or building structure. System capacity can be scaled to match your organisation's actual energy requirements, making this the most viable option for high-consumption facilities with significant power targets.
Flexible Siting and Orientation
Because the system is installed on open ground, panels can be positioned and angled to capture maximum solar irradiance throughout the day. There are no structural constraints from an existing building to work around, giving the engineering team full flexibility in system layout.
Higher Performance Through Tracking
Ground-mounted systems are compatible with single-axis tracking technology, which adjusts panel orientation to follow the sun's position across the day. This increases energy yield compared to fixed installations and delivers stronger long-term performance from the same land area.
Lower Carbon Emissions
Large-scale ground-mounted systems displace a significant volume of fossil-fuel-based grid electricity. For organisations with ambitious emissions reduction targets or Scope 2 reporting obligations, this makes a material and measurable difference.
Attractive Long-Term Energy Tariffs
Ground-mounted solar installations, particularly under a power purchase agreement, provide access to long-term energy at a stable and competitive tariff. This protects your organisation from grid price volatility and supports more accurate long-term energy cost forecasting.
Commercial Models
Ground-mounted solar systems with Kanoo CleanMax are available under two commercial structures, depending on your organisation’s capital planning and ownership preferences.
OPEX Model (Power Purchase Agreement)
Kanoo CleanMax finances, builds, owns, and operates the solar plant on your land. You pay only for the electricity generated, billed on a per-kWh basis under a long-term power purchase agreement. There is no upfront capital requirement, and all performance and operational risk is carried by us.
CAPEX Model (Customer-Owned)
Your organisation purchases and owns the solar plant outright. Kanoo CleanMax delivers the complete engineering, procurement, and construction scope. Ongoing operations and maintenance support is available as an optional add-on. This model provides full asset ownership and long-term control over your energy infrastructure.
